Judaism Short

Paul says only through Jesus we are saved.

 Acts 4:11-12

11 Jesus is the cornerstone.

12 And there is salvation in no one else.

Acts 10:43
To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

Romans 10:9

9  if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

2 Thessalonians 1
6 God will do what is right: he will bring suffering on those who make you suffer, 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord.

2 Timothy 2:12
If we deny him, he also will deny us.

Paul says people under Jewish law are under a curse and relying on circumcision for salvation separates you from Jesus.

Romans 7

4 In the same way, brothers and sisters, you have died to the laws in Moses’ Teachings through Christ’s body. You belong to someone else, the one who was brought back to life. 6 now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

Romans 8

2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you, free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.

2 Corinthians 3

6 God made us ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (The letter means Jewish law)

Galatians 3:13

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Galatians 2
16 We know that a person is not justified by works of the law. all who rely on works of the law are under a curse.
Galatians 3
11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law.
Galatians 5:1-4
1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. 4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

Romans 2:28–29
Nor is circumcision outward and physical. Circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter.

More on circumcision.

(In Salvation Paul also goes over more reformation of Jewish law)

These are only some of the statements statements why the Jews stoned Paul:

Acts 13:45
45 the Jews contradicted the things which were spoken by Paul.
Acts 14
the Jews, with their rulers, made an attempt to mistreat and stone them,19 Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, 20 and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city.

Paul says Jews are against God:

1 Thessalonians 2
the Jews,15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out (with stones) displease God and oppose all mankind.
